The most obvious symptom of eczema is itchy.
Sometimes the itching will start before the rash appears, the
rash most commonly occurs on the face, back of the knees, wrists, hands, or
feet. Sometimes it affect other area too.
The affected areas
will appear very dry, thickened, and peeling. In fair-skinned people, these
areas may initially appear reddish (this is my case) and then turn brown. Among darker-skinned
people, eczema can affect pigmentation, making the affected area it lighter or
darker.
