April Fool's Day.....

April Fools' Day is celebrated in different countries on every April 1. Also known as All Fools' Day, April 1 and is never a national holiday (It will be a jokes if it is), but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day when many people play all kinds of jokes and foolishness. The day is marked with good-humoured, funny jokes, hoaxes, and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc.

I still rememer during schooling dayz.. Classmates and schoolmates love to crack little jokes, or do funny things like sticking a notepad on your back say "Kick Me" or "Hit Me".. The best Hoax was, a few of my schoolmates start staring and pointing to the sky at a crowded public area.. then many curious onlookers or bypassers start to stare at the sky curiously not knowing what what we are staring a dn pointing at.. It was great fun then.. Not much fun during NS because our commander will play their "tekan"means torturous punishment jokes on us... 

Now.. working life, it is never wise to crack hoax or jokes in the office, it might end up a bad taste or colleagues will say "Wu Liao" in Mandarin, means "don't be rediculous" in English.. Anyway, Nourish Loft wishes everyone a

Kidnap attempt by PRC woman on SG Kids

Yesterday my wife told me that she read news of, attemp kidnap of local kids by PRC women in our home ground, Singapore, from facebook. She keeps reminding our maid to be vigilent when bringing the kids out..

This morning news wrote, that there are a few cases reported about PRC attemping to kidnap kids in Singapore and the police issue a media statement lately urging Singaporeans not to spread ‘unsubstantiated information’ to create unnecessary ‘alarm’ as the shocking case at Ang Mo Kio Hub continues to send ripples across the island. But we must not let our guards down.. Well that really disturb me... I had read news about kidnapping in many countries and now is in our neighbourhood.. Scary.. These kids are being taken away by PRC women right beneath their parents eyes..

That recalled many years back,when my elder child was about 5-6 years old.. me, my wife, my mom and my kid were out shopping.. i usually let my kid walk infront of us , but keep an arm lenght distance.. then a PRC woman come and talk to my child, hold her hand and wanted to lead her away, right before our eyes..Then my wife call out our kid's name, and that PRC women got a stund said "Oh you are the parent of this girl, she is pretty..." then hurrily she walk off.. At that moment, we know what this woman is trying to attemp.. Goodness, right beneath our eyes, broad day light, in a crowded shopping mall, this PRC woman is so daring to attempt kidnap.. GOSH... From then on.. My elder child always hold our hands whenever we go.....

To all parent out there, we have to becareful, alert the police if this happen to your child.. always hold your kids hand.. never one moment leave them alone.. maids and senior citizen of your family sometimes tends to laps... I am very glad that there are few citizens that make aware of such incidents.. CHEERS to you, we need to create awareness so that these PRC woman can never attemp kidnap in our shore... We MUST keep Singapore a safe place to live in...

Yesterday morning while travelling on the MRT to work.. We saw a pregnant lady boarding the MRT and stand infront of a young Philippinos couple, but noone give up their seat.. Then my wife approach an indonesian lady (well i hear her speaking Indonesian on her cell phone) who is seating on the Reserved seat.. This young Indonesian lady brush my wife off.. Gosh, my wife feel so embrassed.. Luckly a lady from another reserved seat stood up and offer this pregnant lady her seat..

What is wrong with these foreigners? If they wants to seat on the reserved seat, but do they know that they must give , up these seats to people who need it most.??

Switzerland's Shawish Jewelry has created the world's first diamond ring.
Not impressed? Well, consider that the entire ring is carved from a diamond, whereas most other diamond rings are composed of a precious-metal band with a diamond centerpiece. Styleite writes that the 150-carat ring runs laps around some other famous diamond competitors, including Beyoncé's 18-carat engagement ring from Jay-Z and the even better known 30-carat ring given to the late Elizabeth Taylor by Richard Burton.
The ring was created by Shawish's president and CEO Mohamed Shawesh using lasers (yes, lasers!) along with traditional diamond cutting and polishing techniques. It took a full year to carve the ring, which has been copyrighted and is expected to sell for $70 million.

Alonso & Ferrari called the perfect strategy in the rain-affected race, and Alonso didn't put a wheel wrong as he held off Perez by just 2.2 seconds. Perez should have won his first grand prix but ran wide when pressuring Alonso with six laps remaining and couldn't close the gap in the remaining laps. The rain does change the whole game play and look at the result.. Where is Vettel, Button, Messa and the rest??

Not Feeling Well, On MC today

This morning woke up and not feeling well.. Took two panadol before heading to work.. But still don't feel much better.. So instead of going  to work, i head towards the polyclinic..
Hada good rest day, the medicine doc gave really makes me sleep...
Hope to get well by tomorrow...

Today is VEGGIE DAY....
Morning my usual Breakfast: Four bars of Wheatsbits, with sugarless Soya Milk and Top it up with lots of Muesli..
Lunch: Healthy Brown Rice with 3 serving of Veggies.. Lady Fingers, Bitter Gourd and Long Snake Beans...
Dinner: Red Brown Rice with another serving of veggie, one serving of fried egg and some Mock stuffs...
Hmm wats for Supper?
Oh yeah.. some fruits for SUpper.. to wrap up my day...

Why Healthy Food aways Cost MORE?

I never understand why sugarless food always cost more.. or should i say why healthy food always more expensive..

Logically food without sugar, or low fat or less salt should be cheaper than food stuffs with lots of ingredients.. see LESS sugar, LESS oil, LESS salt, etc.. did you see the word LESS?? Means less ingredients.. Then why COST MORE?? I Just don't get it.

If healthy food cost more, then going to a healthy diet is definately going to cost more in long term .. Then how about switching to salad? Vegetables, sound cheaper... But unfortunately salad is also expensive here.. I am talking about locally in Singapore..

I believe businessman are tagging on the 'Healthy' slogan choice to promote their LESS Sugar, LESS Oil, LESS Salt etc products and sell it at a high price tag, to create a healthy premium choice.

Yesterday went to Marina Square to see the Largest Balloon Scupture.. The gaint robot scupture is not impressive at all.. but those smaller scales robot scupture are far even better..

NE line broke down..again..

This morning the North East MRT Line broke down..  between Dhoby Ghaut Station and Harbourfront Station... Lucky this time mange to see the notice and switch to commute by bus.. Bus journey too me more then an hour to get to office.. on my bus journey, i played some "Draw Something" game. i can tell you, it is really hard to draw onboard moving bus..

During Lunch me and colleague walk all the way to Lau Pa Sat.. Had our lunch and take a stroll back..
Tried the Vietnam Beef Rice Noodle Soup, Tasty , Authentic with Basil leafs as ganish... But the soup base is a bit salty..
