Singapore Un-Graciousness

Had a good time at Sentosa on Good Friday 6Apr12.. Had a good experience bring our toddler and family out. From the Vivo City, the Sentosa Express Rail staff direct all families with prams, kids, elderly and disable to a individual lane on the platform to board the rail... Every station we visit, were giving this priority.. Thanks Sentosa Management...

Then back to Seng Kang MRT, when we approach the MRT lift, a group of Indians (definately not locals), young and able adults cut throught all the families with prams and elderly with wheelchair and station themself infrom of the lift door.. once the lift door open, they rush in, leaving all the families with prams and elderly in wheelchair, staring at them.. No way we can get in..GOSH.. We have no choice but to take the escalator.. Then at the LRT Platform, i witness another similar case, a couple with a pram waiting for the lift when two indian adult, cut throught and stand infront of the lift door..

The MRT should station staffs at the lift or place signage to inform public to give priority to those who need it more. In Korea, if any able person take the lift in their Subway station, they will gets a good glare from the elderly and the disable, some might even tell you off (in Korean of course)..
