Surabaya Trip 09-13May 2012 (Part 1)

Well i am sure some of you are wondering why my last post is travelling to Surabaya and then i disappear for days. Here i am back from Surabaya. The second largest city in Indonesia. Here are some for the pics.
My journey started out with a good note as China Airline upgraded my seat to Business Class. Depart late in at night and arrival at Surabaya after midnight. I am so tired and was giving a two stars V3 Hotel. This hotel is so run down and once i open the curtain, there was this banana tree staring at me, the water in the bathroom smell. Goosh. Had a bad sleep and woke up early in the morning for breakfast. The food is totally non-edible, the coffee very dilute, porridge so sticky, mee goreng and bee hoon very saulty, fruits not fresh etc. We then make held of noise to the organiser hoping they are able to change our hotel to a decent one.

Then we were later upgrade to 4 stars hotel, Surabaya Plaza Hotel. Suite Room..

Rushing home and have a quick dinner, then a cool shower and rush off to the airport.. I am flying to Surabaya tonight..

Great Lunch

Today i went to People's Park Centre for lunch.. As usually, i patronise my favourite Roast Duck stall.. The store supervisor is so happy to see me again.. I ordered a bowl of duck noodle.. He gave me a huge 2 person serving of noodle, some lean duck meat with the tasty roasted skin still attach, crispy roast pork, some yummy char siew and a few sliced of roasted tender pork rib.. You will never imagine how much he charge me for that bowl of wonderful platter.. Well i will not reveal and won't take a pic to make everyone drool.. My colleague saw that bowl of noodle and her jaw nearly drop..

That is my lunch today.........
